Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
assalamualaikum and hello.
the brain is wider than the sky is a poem written by emily dickinson.
i don't really get the whole meaning of the poem but i found that the first stanza is very interesting and intriguing (gune fav word cekgu jap =p)~ and also the second stanza~ =p
as i told adzreen, i may have asperger's ( xpaham abstract stuff) i don't know; i hope not, but what ever it is i've decided to put the two stanzas of the poem here. eheh. because the third one is weird and i don't like it simply said.
THE BRAIN is wider than the sky,
For, put them side by side,
The one the other will include
With ease, and you beside.
The brain is deeper than the sea, 5
For, hold them, blue to blue,
The one the other will absorb,
As sponges, buckets do.
the title of this entry was quoted in a video during physio seminar (just in case if there's anybody wondering how i came across this poem and ended up asking gugel~)
eheh.
about the second stanza~ it reminds me of mama. huhu. when i was in ktt (i think), she told me something i didn't remember as a child.
"korang kecik dulu cam sponge. absorb sume mende."
(as in knowledge~)
NB; i edited the sentence because this conversation happenned +-2 rok temu~
it passed through my mind Several times.
apekah which passes through?
the hope That the ability sponge is still here inside me. God willing.
Amen ~ ~ ~ ~
